Pierogi (plural for ‘pierog’) are Polish dumplings. A quick search online reveals that this “humble” staple is classically filled with meat, sauerkraut, mushroom, potato, and cheese. Now they are available in Manilia, the Philippines.

The force behind Babci is the husband and wife team of Peter and Mia Pysk. Peter and Mia were the couple that made pierogi for their friends.

After some time they realized that there is a demond for new tastes in the metropolitan Manila.. The dream became a reality. From more that a year the Polish dumplings and sausages are available in numerous food shops and as a on-line order. "Babci Kuchnia" (means "Grandmother's Kitchen) offers them in a wide variety of flavours. From the very traditional ones to sweet bites, whiche can be consumed as a dessert.

Bon Appetite!
